MONTEST-HDMI Video Test Pattern Generator Now Supports RS232 Control.

AURORA, OH: Video Products Inc today announced that the MONTEST-HDMI Video Test Pattern Generator supports RS232 control.

The MONTEST-HDMI Pattern Generator can now be controlled via a female DB9 RS232 serial port using the included application software. The software is available for download at: http://www.montest.com/download/setup.zip.

The software provides an on-screen GUI for controlling the pattern generator using a Windows PC. It supports Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista operating systems. The Pattern Generator can also be controlled using the front panel buttons or the IR remote control.

The MONTEST-HDMI Video Test Pattern Generator generates video patterns for evaluating and testing HDMI or single-link DVI displays and components. It also supports 3 types of audio test signals including a built-in sine wave tone generator, left and right channel stereo inputs, and an optical S/PDIF digital audio input.
