VPI Now Offering a VGA Video Test Pattern Generator

AURORA, OH: Video Products Inc (VPI) today announced the addition of the MONTEST-VGA VGA Video Test Pattern Generator to its popular line of Video Test Pattern Generators.

The VGA Video Pattern Generator is a battery powered, portable, compact unit that generates video test patterns for evaluating the color performance and linearity of VGA displays.

The unit features 36 static and dynamic video test patterns and 38 timings up to WUXGA 1920x1200, including patterns such as color bar, gray, grid, and block. Control the tester using the front panel control buttons and 16x2 LCD.

The MONTEST-VGA supports H/V sync and sync on green (SOG), and up to a maximum 162 MHz pixel frequency. The female 15-HD output connector is compatible with any VGA interface and supports cable lengths up to 16 feet.

Powered by a 4.8V, 2300mAh Ni-MH battery, the unit has a runtime of 6 to 8 hours and can be recharged using the included 12VDC, 1.25A power adapter (US, EU, AUS, and UK AC adapter provided). The unit will automatically power off when unused in battery mode. With compact dimensions of 3.77x7.1x1.33 inches, the VGA Video Pattern Generator is ideal for on-the-field testing.
